Whether you need a 10‑minute TED‑style talk sharing how Personal Recovery has influenced my life and work, or a 1.5‑hour session exploring the basics of Personal Recovery, each talk can be tailored to your organisation, audience, and available time.

 

These sessions give a clear and accessible introduction to Personal Recovery, with lived‑experience insight that inspires hope and motivates positive change. They also include signposting to further resources for anyone who wants to explore recovery beyond the session and think about how it may support them in everyday life.

  • Depending on allocated time, each talk can include:

    • The basics of personal recovery
      What recovery actually is, what it isn’t, and why it matters at work.

    • Recovery at work
      How recovery shows up in communication, boundaries,
      decision‑making, performance, and culture.

    • Lived experience voice
      Insight grounded in real personal experience, illustrating
      how recovery can change both personal and professional and life.

    • Recovery‑informed language
      Shifting the way people communicate to reduce stigma
      and support autonomy, empowerment and choice.

    • Moving forward
      Signposting to further resources and recovery‑focusedsupport.
      Referencing a personal recovery pack (where commissioned).

    Participants revisit the core elements of personal recovery and then move into workshop‑style activities, including:

    • collaborative exercises in small groups (3–6 people)

    • practical activities focused on applying recovery principles to real‑life situations

    • guided tasks to help individuals explore their strengths, patterns, and personal needs

Each RaW Talk and Workshop includes a basic guide to further resources, such as where individuals can access a Recovery College or additional information.

RaW Packs are commissioned, personalised recovery‑focused learning resources, available as digital PDFs or printed materials.

 

Designed to extend learning beyond live sessions, RaW Packs support individuals to deepen their understanding, reflect at their own pace, and apply recovery‑informed approaches in everyday life and work.

 

Each pack offers self‑guided learning tailored to the organisation’s needs and selected topics, helping staff explore Personal Recovery principles in a clear, practical and accessible way.
